Louise Kasak’s Dance Academy prides itself as a home-grown neighborhood dance studio, where quality instruction in the art of dance is given and lifetime friendships and relationships begin. Started in 1974 as Kasak Sisters School of Dance the studio had grown and flourished over the years under the leadership of the sisters Louise, Linda and Lorrie. Presently, under the direction of Louise, the Dance Academy continues to shine as it focuses on dance technique, as well as the well-being of each and every student on a daily basis.
The studio provides a happy and healthy atmosphere in which children can develop a strong technical dance background and acquire self-motivation and self-esteem, all essential qualities of life. Many former students have gone on to pursue a career in dance.
The Dance Academy maintains its home-grown feel as each of the teachers are quality products of the studio, each outstanding dancers in their own right. There is a distinct family feeling in the studio as many second generation Kasak dancers are now students at the studio.
Affordable quality instruction is offered in pre-ballet, combination classes in tap/jazz and acro/jazz, as well as ballet, tap, acrobat, contemporary/lyrical, pointe, hip-hop, and musical theater. New classes are being offered at the Studio in Drama, Strength and Conditioning and Boys' Hip-hip. Also classes in chair yoga with stretch and conditioning are offered.
